Details

Thorngarth House in Ingleton is a Victorian Country House, located on the edge of the North Yorkshire Dales, offering a world of peace and a relaxing way of life in this charming part of England.
The Four Star Guesthouse stands amid wonderful scenery in the Dales National Park between the Yorkshire Dales and Forest of Bowland, overlooking River Great and in the shadow of the majestic peak of Ingleborough. It is an ideal spot for holidaying on day excursions to the Lake District, Morecambe Bay and Herriot Country (All Creatures Great and Small) as they are all within easy travelling distance.

An ideal base from which to explore the Yorkshire dales, Lake District and surrounding areas.

The village of Ingleton nestles at the foot of Ingleborough one of the famous Three Peaks amid wooded glens, waterfalls and caves. In the hills surrounding Ingleton there are many varied and beautiful walks. Just one is 'The Waterfalls Walk' which is slightly more than 4 miles of ever-changing waterfalls and woodland with stunning views around every corner. Ribblehead sports the magnificent 24 arch - Ribblehead Viaduct which carries trains on the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway. In addition to Settle (7 miles east) which hosts a colourful bustling market every Tuesday as does Kirby Lonsdale (7 miles west) on Thursdays, there are numerous other places of interest to visit in close proximity.
